What a whirlwind day!
Spent 10 hours driving home from Utah going nearly crazy with the thought that this thing was waiting for me at home...
Arrived just in time to gather some family and tear it open.
It's kind of a surreal experience. But oh so wonderful! The best part is the instant love I already have for the people of Chile! It really is such an incredible thing! Missions are the best and I can't wait to start mine! Luckily I don't have to wait too long as I leave in just 3 months!! I miss Jacob getting home by 5 days...but we will wave to each other as he passes over the Mexico MTC on his way home. It will be another 21 months until I see my brother but we are doing the Lord's work so it's all good :) It will just make our reunion that much sweeter!

I had both my brothers with me in my heart!
I don't think I have ever read the whole mission letter before but while reading it for me personally a few spots stuck out.
"Your purpose will be to invite others to come unto Christ" What a responsibility! We are helping others realize and come to know the Savior! A blessing beyond compare! What a privilege it is to share this most important and vital message.
"Greater blessings and more happiness than you have ever experienced await you as you humbly and prayerfully serve the Lord in this labor of love among His children." What an amazing promise! I feel like I have had some pretty happy moments in my life so to think that I could experience even greater happiness is remarkable. And love- what its all about! Sharing Christ's love with HIS children-- such an honor!!
I am so excited! I am so happy! I feel so blessed! But most of all I am so thankful that I have this wonderful opportunity to share something that is so incredibly important to me!
God has a plan- and it is always so much greater than ours. That is something to be grateful for.
"Shall we not go forth with so great a cause?"

P.s. there is such a thing as gluten and dairy free pizza! Who would've known?! There are some geniuses out there!
